A NEW MAINTENANCE HANDBOOK

McCoy Collaborative recently completed a Historic Texas Courthouse Maintenance Handbook for the Texas Historical Commission. The Handbook is intended to assist counties in the care of their buildings. However, it has applicability well beyond historic courthouses. The 21 chapters include common historic materials such as wood windows and stone. The format can also be expanded and tailored to specific buildings. Nancy McCoy and Nicky DeFreece Emery presented the Handbook at the THC’s Real Places Conference in Austin.
