Tietze Aquatic Center

Beloved by the neighborhood, Tietze Park has served residents since the 1940s with a pool and bathhouse, as well as other park facilities. The new aquatic center was designed to blend with the old one, by adapting the original ticket taking and restroom facilities to modern day dressing rooms, showers and restrooms. Ticketing was moved to an adjacent historic structure, which also houses a concession. A new mechanical building was designed to blend in with the historic stone building while protecting the pool equipment.
