THE INTERURBAN RAIL CAR
The City of Plano’s Park and Recreation Department, with McCoy Collaborative providing architectural services and Phoenix I Restoration providing construction services, has recently completed the restoration of an Interurban rail car, complete with its original wood finishes, seating and signage, for the Interurban Railway Museum in Haggard Park. The museum consists of a 1908 train station and this rail car, located at 901 E. 15th Street. Photography credit belongs to David Hand. The museum is open daily and more information can be found on their website: interurbanrailwaymuseum.org
